Mac’s Moments – A Furry Hero

Our Furry Hero

Hello to all,

Ginger, our fury hero, made up to Mom on Thursday. I know this sounds silly or even ridiculous, but a traumatic event took place on Wednesday that shook Ginger to her core.

Mom gathers her baby in the kitchen by rattling her harness. Ginger bounces off a couple of walls with excitement about going out. The sheer ecstasy envelopes Ginger as Mom opens the car door. The peaks of jubilation recede as we pull into the parking lot of the most evil of devilish places. We enter the glass door, and the onerous scents of torture waft through the air, causing her tail to tuck neatly between her hind legs.

A Torquemada want-to-be (friendly assistant) forces Ginger onto a shaky shelf high off the ground. (the scale is about two inches high) From there, the dog-slayer forces Ginger into the dungeon of death. (the examination room) The chief tormentor (the doctor) barges into the room to perform foul acts on our furry hero.

She uses a cold metallic sensor to check Ginger’s soft underbelly for the best place to slice her open. (a stethoscope to listen to internal functions) The tyrant tried to suck out her brain and blind her with a laser light. (checked Ginger’s ears and eyes for clarity) The master persecutor then felt her neck for the best spot to choke her. (checked the lymph nodes) Then, the oppressor lifts Ginger’s tail so the world can see her private parts.

Finally, the bully leaves but comes back with two henchmen. (two young assistants) The three gang up on our fearless warrior and stab her twice with a large spear. (one shot in the shoulder and another in the hind quarter) They giggle with sadistic glee as they drain half the blood from our furry hero. (they took a couple of CC for testing)

Just when Ginger thinks her torture day is over, they return with the most hated device. One henchman secures her in a bear hug while the other cuts our dog's toes off. (she trims the nails back) The most disturbing moment comes when they only have two cookies left in the tin to share with our furry hero. (she ended up with five treats while at the vet’s office)
